Common questions
Booking a bed in Byron Bay
From dorms to private rooms, here's what guests ask before they stay.
How do I check room availability and prices?
Availability and rates change by date, so we keep them live on our booking page. Head to /stay, pick your dates and see what's open for the six-bed dorm, four-bed female dorm or private double.
Can I book directly with the hostel instead of a booking site?
Yes. Booking through /stay goes straight to us, no middleman, same rooms and dates you'd see anywhere else.
What are your reception hours for check-in?
Reception is open 7am to 9pm every day. You can check in any time within those hours.
Is someone at reception if I arrive late?
Reception closes at 9pm each night. If you're arriving later, call us on 02 6685 0100 to arrange your arrival.
What rooms are on offer?
Three options: a six-bed dorm, a four-bed female dorm and a private double. See each one at /rooms.
What's included with each dorm bed?
Every dorm bed, in both the six-bed dorm and the four-bed female dorm, has its own curtain, light and power point.
Which room suits a solo female traveller?
The four-bed female dorm is a female-only room, good for women travelling solo or in a small group who want that space.
Which room suits a couple or two friends?
The private double gives you a room to yourselves, away from the dorms.
